The Canadians are on to something extraordinary when it comes to psychopathology, as evidenced in this scientific abstract. This isn't the newest article around, but I happened to find it today for the first time so it's new to me and I wanted to post it. It is timed perfectly with recent discussions that Trish, Kane and I have been having about Winnie the Pooh and how depressing he and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood can be. This is one of the greatest lines in the article:
Sadly, the forest is not, in fact, a place of enchantment, but rather one of disenchantment, where neurodevelopmental and psychosocial problems go unrecognized and untreated.
